The Originals is the collection of lovelocks photographed on The LoveLock Bridge in Paris between 2013-2014. All lovelocks were removed from the bridge by the city services in 2015.

37,374 lovelocks photographed individually on the most romantic bridge in the world, the Pont des Arts (The LoveLock Bridge) in Paris, between 2013 and 2014. Their location have been carefully reported on a database to be able to find them again.

On WeLockLove, you can find them all forever again. And now, you can become a Keeper of the Lovelock's history !

Collect 915 unique edition NFT's artworks: monumental collages of the lovelocks that belong to specific parts of the bridge. There are four different formats, ranging from a Bundle with an average of 44 lovelocks to the right Side with 19,222 lovelocks in one single image.

On the website, each artwork is positioned on its exact location on the Lovelock Bridge! You can browse artworks or individual lovelock to discover the artworks they belong to.

Structure of the bridge

The structure is also detailed on WeLockLove website when you navigate the bridge.

The bridge is made of 2 sides. Left and Right designate the two sides when looking at the Louvre with the Institut de France at your back. Here's a simple Google Maps to find your way.

Each side is made of 8 lamposts, with 8 panels between each lamppost. We call this area an OctoPanel.

There are 56 panels on each side. Each one is called a Panel.

To find a lovelock on the bridge, each panel was cut in 8 areas (2 rows and 4 columns).

There are 8*56*2 = 896 referenced areas on the bridge. We call them : Bundles of lovelocks

A Bundle is identified by (side, x ,y), where :

• side = {"Left", "Right"}

• x = {1,2} (top, bottom row)

An OctoPanel is the area between two lamp posts. It is made of 8 Panels

Each artwork is unique: only one NFT will be minted and associated to one artwork.

The artwork associated with the NFT is a monumental collage made of all the lovelocks photographed and identified in the area.

The collection is divided in 4 different formats of artworks : Bundles, Panels, OctoPanels and Sides.

Buy and sell The Originals

Bundles, Panels and OctoPanels are available to purchase through primary sale during one of the four Drops. Read here information about the minting of the collection.

If you mint and hold an Original before the Spaces release, you will get an airdrop of Spaces for free.

Each NFT gives you access to a webpage where you can download a full resolution image.

Once the NFT in your hands, you can display it in your collection and you will be able to trade it to other collectors through secondary market.

Royalties are 4% (seller fees reserved for the creator).

Associated rights

The NFT contains the non-exclusive license right for the owner to display privately and publicly on any support the digital artwork associated with the token. No commercial right is given and it is forbidden for the owner of the NFT to earn any commercial revenues from the usage of the digital artwork associated with the token.

Smart contract

The Originals NFT are on the Ethereum blockchain, deployed on their own customized smart contract. It is designed to be automatically integrated to major secondary marketplaces such as Opensea.

Metadata and associated images are decentralized on the Arweave protocol.
